Bridal Shower

My bridal shower was held on Sunday, July 22 at the park in Menahga. It was a really hot day, but we had lots of fun!

Me with the moms.

The girls dressed up a teammate in a toilet paper wedding gown, then I had to choose the best.

I chose the middle "wedding dress".

Pre-Wedding Activities

We gave out these fans as wedding favors.

We beautified before the wedding with face masks.

My mom, sisters and I made all the cupcakes for the wedding.

Playing games...

For every petal, I had to list a reason why I love Dan.

We had my bridal breakfast Friday morning. Lots of ladies showed up....

We set up the tables and decorated all Friday afternoon. I had lots of help!

Rehearsal & Dinner

Friday night, after the rehearsal, we had pizza for the family and wedding party in Nevis.

Wedding Day

Everything went better than we could have possibly hoped. There were no catastrophes, everything went smoothly and the weather cooperated all day long.

When I arrived, everyone was already busy getting ready.
Chaka steaming her dress

Natalia was waiting ever-so-patiently to put o her flower girl dress

Getting ready
My shoes were much more uncomfortable than I could have predicted.

Natalia was perfectly content with her jelly beans (hidden in the basket) and was very well-behaved.
